ORDER POLICY

I aim to deal with your orders on a first come first served basis in the order that they are received into my mailbox.

I aim to respond within 24 hours of your initial email enquiry.

SHIPPING POLICY

All mainland UK and Channel Islands shipments are made by Royal Mail's Recorded Delivery Service.  For larger weighted parcels (over 2kg), we use either Royal Mail's Standard Parcel Service or a courier service for which there is a set postage charge of £12.95 (within mainland UK, if outside the mainland please note that the charge will be higher), the choice of course, is always yours.  The courier service DOES however include insurance up to £100, whereas Royal Mail's Standard Parcel Service only provides the basic £20 compensation unless you pay for additional cover.

For BFPO addresses, please ensure you advise me whether you are within Europe or outside Europe.

Once the parcel leaves my hands and enters the Post Office sorting office, the matter is out of my control unless additional insurance is requested and paid for before despatch. 

For any parcel with a goods value exceeding £30, this is highly recommended as parcels DO go missing sometimes and I will not be held responsible if you are not in to take delivery of your parcel or for parcels lost in the mail.

Refunds for lost parcels will only be made if extra insurance is taken out at time of ordering as I have had too many suspicious "lost" parcels recently which leaves me without payment AND goods.  Whilst Special Delivery does cost extra, it does guarantee next day delivery and fully insured items, so if the post office DO lose the parcel I can claim for compensation. 

If using the courier option mentioned above, compensation is already included up to a value of £100 and the parcel is fully trackable.

We no longer accept callers at our registered address as it is a private residence.   All orders MUST be placed and paid for online for delivery by courier/Royal Mail.   We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause local customers, but this process has been implemented to safeguard the wellbeing and safety of my young family.

All international shipments are sent by Air Mail and can normally be expected within 7 days from date of posting.  Obviously, please allow for any unforeseen air or postal delays.  Once again, as soon as the parcel enters Post Office space, the matter is out of my control unless additional insurance is requested and paid for before despatch.  For any parcel with a goods value exceeding £30, this is highly recommended.

Parcels are posted once your payment has cleared into my account (my account is in London and all payments have to be posted to them, so please allow for at least 7-10 days clearance) and you will be advised by email as to when your parcel will be posted. 

Please note that during half-term I am not able to get to the post office as frequently, so you will be advised in your order confirmation of your expected delivery date.

RETURNS POLICY

In line with UK trading laws, you as the customer have the right to cancel your order within 7 days.  All I ask is for you to abide by the following guidelines:

If you wish to cancel your order, please advise me immediately by email so that I can provide you with a returns number.

Please ensure that the goods are returned as received, and have not been worn or washed by you.  Your returns number MUST be quoted somewhere within your returned package otherwise it will be returned back to you.

On receipt of the returned items, I will arrange a full refund for you less original postage costs.  Postage costs are non-refundable.

All returned goods are sent at your own cost. 

All UK refunds are made by Cheque, unless you paid by Paypal.

All overseas refunds will be made via Paypal or SWIFT payment.

If you are overseas and returning any goods, please ensure that you complete any necessary documentation correctly, as if Trendy Tots International are charged any duty or tax, this amount will be deducted from your final refund, and please make sure you mark the parcel as being a "return".

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

I hope that you will have an enjoyable visit to my online store, but should you have any reason for complaint, please contact me by email.  Your comments will be dealt with in strict confidence, and a reply will be sent within 72 hours of receipt.

PRIVACY POLICY

The data you provide for processing your order is held by me in the strictest of confidence and is not disclosed to any third party unless authorised by you.  The only exception to this rule is if you unfortunately are placed on the UK Online Retailers blacklist which is seen by all online resale stores due to bad payment history, or not confirming orders.

Trendy Tots International will send any monthly site update emails unless you specifically request I don't keep you informed.

The information Trendy Tots International collects is:

.    Your email address. 

I do not hold on computer or file any credit card details and I would never request these from you, as I do not process your credit card payments.

Should you wish to review any data held by me which is relevant to you, please email me and I will send it on.  If any of the information I hold is incorrect, please inform me immediately, and I will either amend or delete as appropriate.
